How to to reduce smelling of the eyes lip, after surgen. Medication, cream or ice ? quick fix !! Please! help?

After surgery you should have been sent home with something to help you with that. As for non-surgical swelling, I found that brewed tea bags kept in the refrigerator or cucumber slices usually help with swelling when applied to the affected area. How to to reduce smelling of the eyes lip, after surgen. Nothing helps me, i have eczema i use like 5 different creams an take about 2 liquid medications please help?

i use protopic and ellidel creams and i take zertec and beynedryl liquid medicationsNothing helps me, i have eczema i use like 5 different creams an take about 2 liquid medications please help?
Here are a few pointers which I hope will help you! :)

1.Always wear protective gloves when using ANY cleaning products at all such as dish washing detergent, bleach ect.

2. Do not put your hands in water more than necessary. Frequent washing when not necessary can dry out your skin and take away natural oils.

3.Use only very gentle moisterizers without fragrance such as cetaphil.

3.When I used too many creams it only made my hands worse but when I used the min amount and kept getting my hands wet to a minimum, they healed.Nothing helps me, i have eczema i use like 5 different creams an take about 2 liquid medications please help?
hi, i too have allergy like symtoms on the skin, rashes, itchy parts, etc. It first broke out on the front of my legs and has also been in other areas. The only med that helps these symptoms - given to me by my dermatologist is prednisone, it ususally starts to clear up in about a week, but since this medicine is not really good for you, we usually wait until it gets really bad. I hate to disagree with someone elses answer but bathing too much is bad!! Removes your skin natural oils - per my dermatologist
A cream called Cleavers ointment helped me,try it.
WHAT ARE YOU BATHING WITH? i USE CETIPHIL AND WHEN I WASH MY SONS HAIR I MAKE SURE TO RISE IT OFF HIS BODY .. MAYBE ITS YOUR SHAMPOO OR LOTION...
You need to be cleansed from the inside out. Try apple cider vinegar mixed with water. Read the websites.
Eczema?

It may be hard to believe: One person had eczema for 12 years and had tried everything imaginable, nothing helped. Until she took a Color*MedicineTM class, and the colored light was directed on her face during almost the entire two days of the class, first one hour Magenta (which she needed), then Turquoise.

Everybody in class saw the miracle: The skin around her mouth lost the scales and hardness more and more and became soft and renewed. By the end of the second day, the skin around her mouth was totally renewed, merely a bit more pink in color than the other parts of the skin.

Color*MedicineTM is harmless when used as intended, highly effective and inexpensive. All one needs is a set of Dinshah color filters and a reading lamp with a self made filter holder attached.

It is probably important in such case to keep the Turquoise color shining on the affected area for several hours, so that the unhealthy skin frequenzy may be entrained by the healthy skin frequency from the lamp. Otherwise and generally, a color should only be given for an hour at a time. Turquoise is an exception.

It is Healing with the Speed of LightTM.

Want to try? Info on Color*Medicine at http://www.biochakra.com ot http://www.colormedicine.com

You may want to repeat the miracle. Why not?

If you have eczema of the skin, use cortizone cream for the itching and dry skin relief. Also, do not use anything on your skin that contains perfume. Use hypoallergenic lotions, skin products, etc. Use ONLY Dove or Camay bath soap. My daughter and I suffer eczema of the skin and these are all recommendations by our Doctor. With daily care of the above mentioned, your skin will feel so much better!
Perhaps you have an underlying condition causing the eczema that hasn't been properly diagnosed? Celiac disease can cause a severe skin rash, and other food intolerances can result in skin disorders as well.
I have eczema too. You need to find out what triggers it. Like foods, detergent that use around the house and work, Body cleansers and creams including the soap you use to wash your hands in. Hot or cold weather, stress and anxiety these things all can trigger eczema then you can learn how to control it.
Try changing your diet. Remove all the obvious things that people are allergic to and see if the eczema goes away. Milk, soy, nuts (peanuts, pecans, walnuts), eggs, tomatoes, chocolate and strawberries.

Also, bathe several times a day with plain water (no soaps), if you need to wash use a mild soap like Neutraphil, blot your skin dry and apply a good moisturizing cream like Eucerin (again no perfumes). I highly recommend Skin E Dip which is available on-line. Just do a yahoo search.

Add essential fatty acids into your diet. Borage oil, evening primrose oil, or flax oil work well. Add vitamin E 400 IU to your diet once daily.

If you find your skin clears up by doing all the above, start adding the foods you removed back in one at a time over a weeks's time. If you break out, you know what is causing it.
Have you ever tried Melaleuca's product called Renew. I have met a couple of people that say it has worked miricles. Melaleuca makes a lot of products that contain tea tree oil and it has been recommended by dermatologist for use to treat eczema. If you google eczema melaleuca you will read many stories on how it has worked for others. I know one person whos daughter had eczema really bad and she switched completely to melaleuca products and she hasn't had an outbreak in 5 years. It is risk free to try and has a money back guarentee if it doesn't work for you. If you live in the U.S. I may be able to send you a sample. You may email me if you'd like.
try the lotion called CUREL in the blue bottle. you can buy it at wal-mart ,target r any other store. GOOD LUCK

COLLEGE STUDENT= BROKE ALL THE TIMIE LOL. but seriously any advice is appreciated thanksI have really bad acne and dark acne sores. how do i get rid of this problem without medications and creams???
Hello, broke college student! Sounds like you're suffering from over-chloronated water.

For face water, use ONLY distilled water - that will cut down on some of the chloronation irritation that could be making your acne worse. Just your face, warm it in the microwave, all you need is about 3 cups for washing and rinsing your face. Costs about $2 a gallon.

Use only natural soaps - this is the only expensive part. About $3 a bar.

Bottle of witch hazel to wipe your skin to reduce the bacteria that causes acne. About $1.

Moisturizer that feeds your skin and doesn't clog pores, just use a good vegetable oil such as extra-virgin olive oil, sunflower oil, or jojoba. All you need is a tiny bottle. Four ounces should last you about a year. Just rub tiny bits on areas that are normally dry. About $2.00

Food, oatmeal and honey to thicken and hydrate the layer of dead skin cells that are a barrier for bacteria, retain moisture and protect you from dermal absorption of environmental chemicals (pollution). Oatmeal $2, honey $2

The recipes for these ingredients is located here:

Enjoy cheap (under $15) and natural skin care. It's a wonderful thing...I have really bad acne and dark acne sores. how do i get rid of this problem without medications and creams???

Does anyone know any good wart medications or wart creams that work good and fast? HELP!?

do not tell me to see a doctor please.Does anyone know any good wart medications or wart creams that work good and fast? HELP!?
I used to have this problem on my hands. I just got an over the counter wart remover (compound W). The secret is after you put it on the wart, place a drop on a band aid and place the band aid over the wart. It is gone in half the time depending on the size. Worked every time for me. I didn't like the wart removers that came with the band aid type covers. I found real band aid with another drop of wart remover works great. It turns little pale at first, but goes away fast. Try it.Does anyone know any good wart medications or wart creams that work good and fast? HELP!?
duct tape- strange but true...
Get ready for some pain. A soldering iron!

hope it helps :-)
Dr. Scholls worked quickly for my mom.

Compound W is supposed to be very good.

And of course going to the doctor to have them freeze it off is the easiest and most effective. ;)
Wartner works really well. It freezes the wart, but is a bit uncomfortable the last few seconds. It's worth it though. I think it costs in the neighborhood of $20.
Duct tape for a week!
i also read about using duct tape.

FYI

All wart-removers contain the active ingredient Salcycic Acid. (Same thing used in some otc acne medications.)
I've used Bazooka gel on my thumb and fingers and it worked! I used the double strength. It's great! No mess, no plaster, no fuss! active ingredient is salicylic acid. I think it was either 12% of 25%. No prescription needed. Just OTC. Good luck.
Good old fashion C-4
An old ancient remedy for warts has the following ingredients

1. The juice from a dogs eye (1/8 ounce)

2. 5 smashed June bugs

3. A toddlers filthy diaper

4. Dried vomit (4 grams)

5. Cat urine (1 gallon)

Mix it on your nasty, ugly wart and wait for it to go away.
get the over the counter ';freeze off'; stuff at Wal-Mart or any drug or food store. works fast, is the same as what the doctors use and is much cheaper, however ........ this is only for regular warts. If you're talking about venereal warts you gotta see an MD.

Back in the old days they would use hot bacon grease and a razor blade. It worked but ............
compound W worked for me.

  • The medication I take is not compatible with anything including food, creams, herbs, spices, lotions, etc.?

I have been told that the medication I take affects everything, and I can prove it by my INR tests each time they are done. There is no other medication I can have that is strong enough so I have to stay on the anticoagulant, or die. I have been to specialists, many Dr, and its the same answer every time. So there is nothing else I can do but eat very small amounts of any food. and not use creams, lotions, or take herbs etc. Im taking rats poison (warfarin)The medication I take is not compatible with anything including food, creams, herbs, spices, lotions, etc.?
I think you've misunderstood what you've been told. Either that or the person that told you is uneducated.

Only foods containing Vitamin K affect INR levels. Topical lotions/creams do not. Some herbs do interact with warfarin. Many drugs also interfere with INR.

I frequently prescribe warfarin to patients after surgery. A pharmacist always tells them about what he/she can eat.

On return visit, not one has complained about not being able to eat a good diet or use topical creams, etc.

Is there an oral medication that one can take for the treament of scabies/body lice or are creams just used?

There is no oral treatment. both of these conditions are parasitic infestation of skin. Oral drugs that would be able to cause your skin to generate that level of toxicity would be deadly. Creams and shampoos are the only treatment. do wash everything in hot water ASAP as you can re-infest yourself if you do not. scabies are actually a rather dangerous parasite and you would want to see a doctor right away to get a perscription stregnth treatment for it.Is there an oral medication that one can take for the treament of scabies/body lice or are creams just used?
Doctor. Is there an oral medication that one can take for the treament of scabies/body lice or are creams just used?
No oral medication. Try Quell shampoo and use it twice, now and again in 2 weeks. Wash linens and towels in hot water, now. Very contagious.

You can use the cream females use.Are there any over the counter creams/medications for men with thrush??
I am sorry to say that I am not sure what to tell you. I feel that I am suffering from something similar. My last GF gave me HPV and I am one of those rare people who needs recurrent therapy (just my luck). Toward the end of our relatioship, a new problem arose that I am not sure is related to the HPV or not. This problem led to a sudden decrease in intercourse, which undoubtedly contributed to the relationship failing.

This new problem is that I get skin irritation in patches on my penis. The areas are red, slightly Itchy and mildly flake after a day or two. These areas basically look like a bad sunburn and peel similarly. Before the relationship ended, we initially thought it was from rougher sex, but I sometimes notice that my penis burns a little when penentrated in her vagina. We laid off of sex for a bit and I used Aquaphor to heal things. That seemed to work. After trying sex again, I noticed the same sensations. I have also tried hydrocortisone thinking that it may be an allergic reaction to her or one of her latex toys. We did not use condoms, so I am not really sure if this could be a latex allergy (to her toys) or not.

Now that we are no longer together and I am single, I really have no idea what can be causing this reaction. I do not use harsh soaps or detergents. When I am alone, I use Lubriderm--fairly mild, but I am still having the same reactions.

What can this be? What can be done? Any other advice would be appreciated. Thank you
stuff for jock itch. thrush is a fungus. if you look at the drugs in yeast infection medicine, its like the same for jock itch stuff.
    Canestan.
    Canestan Duo (Tablet and cream)
Thrush is caused by a fungus (candida), and is therefore treated with antifungal drugs. Treatments are available as:

Pessaries to be inserted into the vagina

Creams to be put on the vulva and/or into the vagina

    Capsules to be swallowed

Treatments can be bought over the counter at a chemist, but they may be cheaper (or free) if you get them by prescription. Pessaries and creams work directly at the site of infection 鈥?in the vagina and on the outer lips of the vagina.

Pessaries are bullet-shaped tablets that can be either hard or waxy. They need to be pushed high into your vagina with your finger or an applicator.

There are two types of creams used to treat thrush: vaginal and vulval. Vaginal creams work internally and, like pessaries, are inserted into the vagina using an applicator. Vulval creams are usually used with an internal treatment, to help soothe and treat itching outside the vagina.

Pessaries and creams can be messy 鈥?they melt and leak out into your pants 鈥?so it鈥檚 best to insert them at night just before you go to bed. You may also want to use a panty liner, as some treatments are coloured and can stain.

Echinacea is an immune system boosting herb. Consider having him add this herb to his diet.

Since most fungal skin infections are surface infections, antifungal treatments are usually applied directly to the skin in the infected area (topical treatments).

There are a variety of treatments available in the form of creams, lotions and medicated powders. If the rash covers quite a large area of skin, or affects the nails or scalp, then tablets may be required.

Some treatments are available over-the-counter from a pharmacist, without a prescription. For example, sprays are available for treating athletes foot. Ask your pharmacist for advice.

Stronger forms of topical treatments and antifungals in tablet form are only available on prescription. You may also be prescribed antifungal shampoo for scalp infections.

These treatments are usually effective. Like any drug, they can occasionally cause side effects. These may include skin irritation or an upset stomach. It isn't unusual for the rash to return, even when it seems to have been treated. The treatment may need to be used for at least four weeks to prevent the infection from coming back.

If you are buying an over-the-counter antifungal treatment, you need to be sure that you have a fungal infection. You may recognise the rash from a previously diagnosed fungal infection. But if there's any doubt about your diagnosis, or if over-the-counter treatments don't work, then you should seek advice from your GP.

Are there any medications (creams, pills, etc.) to stop a person from sweating (or limit the amount)?

A very effective antiperspirant is Drysol, it is applied the night before and is very successful at preventing sweating for the next day, it should be used everyday at first then slowly start to lower the number of times it is used weekly, until eventually you will only have to use it once or twice a month.

Drysol is available at most pharmacies, possibly a prescription needed, but likely just over the counter. Are there any medications (creams, pills, etc.) to stop a person from sweating (or limit the amount)?
In addition to drysol, here are some other more natural methods to consider:

    1. Drink more water - the more cold water you drink, the more you will be helping your body to regulate it's own body temperature, thus the less you will sweat.

    2. Stop drinking coffee - coffee is loaded with caffeine and sugar, both of which are stimulants which increase anxiety and thus sweating.

    3. Use sweat pads - Sweat pads are a great alternative to wearing extra layers or sweaters...you can find them online...they are adhesive absorbent pads that you can stick to the insides of your shirts so that they absorb your sweat.

    4. Quit Smoking - Smoking causes vasodilation(enlarges blood vessels) which results in more blood flow, which means an increase in body temperature which means increased sweating!

    5. Charcoal - Believe it or not, eating charcoal on an empty stomach can help reduce sweating in as little as two days, for best results take it on an empty stomach.

    6. Sage Tea - This one is killer! Take a tablespoon of sage leaves and steep it in a cup of boiled water for less than 10 minuets. Strain the leaves , add a slice of lime to the tea and drink it. Don't brew longer than 10 min though, it can be toxic if over brewed!

    7. Wheat Grass - This is another great solution, try looking for it online. Drink a glass of this a day.

    8. Spicy Foods - Spicy foods stimulate your sympathetic nervous system which is responsible for triggering your sweat glands to sweat. Cut back on the spicy foods and you cut back on the sweating.

    9. Potatoes - Potatoes are a natural way for you to stop excessive sweating. Simply cut one open and rub the inside of it on your underarms, don't ask how, but it works!

    10. Alcohol - Alcohol tends to dilate your blood vessels and in so doing, increases your overall body temperature. An increase in body temperature means an increase in sweating, so watch your alcohol intake.

Try doing a few of these techniques all at once for the best results, there are more tactics to try out at the link below..

    good luck,

-RenardAre there any medications (creams, pills, etc.) to stop a person from sweating (or limit the amount)?
Just a quick question, why do you need to stop sweating? If it is too severe, what is the underlying cause? Try to figure out what makes you sweat, physical exertion, stress, certain foods, too hot environment? Your answer might be in those causes, not in a pill.

I think there is some kind of injection you can get from a dermatologist. Botox in the underarms or something. Celebrities do it before they hit the red carpet. Saw it on Entertainment Tonight.
An adverse side effect of the anti IBS prescription bentyl is lack of sweat.
Yes, there are. The problem is that there only about 50 million to 100 billion of them.

Hello I am Dr. Melanie Jessica we get those problems all the time. First put alchol on the scar and then by an over the counter medication it is called isederma gel, which uses a scentless onion extract, can help get rid of scars. Usually Mederma is used to treat acne scars, which is why the company has focused its marketing campaign on youth. But, over a period of time鈥攗sually several months鈥攕cars that are massaged with Belly button ring scar treatment gel will begin to fade. And thank god for that, because high school is excruciating enough without being taunted by other kids and adults with pierced navels.
I searched ';scar cream'; on Yahoo and this one was 1st. The site looked cool and helpful. Best of luck with saying buh bye to your scar.

The Solution To Scars and Scar Treatment

tru-derm Scar Cream softens, smoothes and flattens all types of scars, including scars from healed lacerations, stretch marks, acne scars, hypertrophic and keloidal scars, burns and even insect bites.

tru-derm Scar Cream also dramatically improves the appearance of healthy skin.

tru-derm Scar Cream can be used on all types of skin to improve and soften the appearance of scars. It can be an effective and affordable alternative to dermabrasion or steroid injections, and can be obtained without a prescription.

tru-derm Scar Cream with SPF10 can also be effective in relieving itching and tingling associated with healing scars, and may be used to provide minimal protection from the sun's damaging rays.

Vitamin E oil will help. You need to massage it into the tissue. It will help restore the skin to it's natural state and the massage will encourage blood flow to the area, helping to break down scar tissue more quickly. Don't use any oils if the skin is broken.
you can use that head off (or something like that) thing- they are those roll on things that come in helping headaches and for getting rid of scars. or something else which i think is called mederma.

well i just noticed im starting to breakout/get acne, %26amp; i haven't had this before so i dont really know about any medications or soaps or creams. do you know any good ones that keep it away and keep it from coming back? %26amp; don't say proactive please. just something you can find at like cvs, wal greens, stuff like that.Over the counter acne/break-out medication/creams/washes?
oh don't worry about that. i started breaking out about 2 years ago and went through a ';collection'; of face washes... i own about 40. lol. so i'll tell you the ones that work best for me. i think that any face washes and scrubs are really good by clean and clear. its my favorite and it definately clears without drying my skin at all so that should work on your skin. but the moisturizers are bad... it dries out your skin which is the exact opposite of what its suppose to do. clearasil works pretty well too but it sometimes dries out your skin, but its better than neutrogena... neutrogena is terrible. dries out really bad and turns your skin red and makes zits worse... and biore is really good and it has intresting face washes that make your skin freeze or warm up lol.so here's a list of things that worked good for me and probably will do wonders for you... =]

    - clearasil blackhead control scrub- smells great and gets rid of blackheads really well

-biore blemish fighting ice cleanser- it makes your skin freeze.. great

-clean and clear oxygenating facial scrub- by far my favorite.. it makes your skin so soft and clears and exfoliates. =]

-clean and clear continuous control acne wash- this totally cleared up my zits to my clear face today

good luck. i sound really crazy for having so many face washes. lol

    Hi All

My mom had her operation about 5 years back

Shes ok now.Her left side carotid vein artery was clipped as she had swelling and burts in the same as a result of stroke.

The operation was done in AIIMS and she is under medication since then for BP and takes 9 medicines in a day

My question is SHE DOES NOT DRINK WATER - how to make her drink water or what other substitues can be given to her ?

Excess juice ( which she loves may cause diabetes we fear )

Dad passed away due to diabetes. All she has is 3 glasses because you have dinner, lunch and breakfast in a day .1 up cofee and 2 glasses of tea and 1 glass tea

Thats her liquid intake. Shes adamant at times to go out and leaves no chance to go out and mix with people

Motivation %26amp; proper counselling is the answer.

She does not listen to u. Find a person whom she believes the most %26amp; ask him to explain the hazards of less intake of water. If u fail a psychiatric can help u- because they are people who can convince any patient after judging their psychological aspect.

Is there anything I can use to make herpes clear up faster?( cream )I am already taking medication for them.?

    http://herpesrxfast.com/zovirax.php

.Zovirax is used to treat herpes infections of the skin, lip, and genitals; herpes zoster (shingles); and chickenpox. It does not cure herpes infections but decreases pain and itching and promotes healing. Topical Zovirax does not prevent the recurrence of sores but may decrease pain and itching if applied when the earliest symptoms first appear. Oral Zovirax decreases the frequency and severity of recurrent sores, but it is used only by people with severe herpes infections because of possible adverse effects. Available online from HerpesRxFAST. com. You do not even need a prior prescription! zovirax cream
If you say your taking medicine for the herpes already (I assume its pill form like valtrex).

One thing you can do along with the meds is a regimen of ASPIRIN every 4-6 hours till the outbreak heals. Aspirin has antihistamine in it which will help minimize the irritation (itching, swelling redness) and heal faster. Works for both genital and mouth herpes.
yes when I was taking all my meds and stuff for it the doc gave me a cream, I wish I remembered the name but that helps fight the virus on the outside to clear up the breakout faster. it also helps relieve some of the discomfort and believe me I lived by it also try L-lysine to prevent future breakouts ... hope that helps... ask you doc they should know
if its on your lips then use Lysine-found in rite aid stores

if its on your genitals then go to an herbal store and purchase

L-Lysine taken orally to prevent or make outbreaks less severe
if you are talking about oral herpes, aka cold sores, Abreva is very effective.

if, however, you are talking about genital herpes, there isn't anything available, you just have to take the medication and wait it out....remember you shed the virus for several days after the lesions are gone, so practise safe sex.

Is zazole vaginal cream good for a yeast infection, i have the medication, but dont know if i should take it?

i tryed to wash my private with palmolive soap but gave me itchy feeling, so am taking this because i dont have vagisil or monestateIs zazole vaginal cream good for a yeast infection, i have the medication, but dont know if i should take it?
    no! it is not!!

and if you have yeast infection then you must get rid of it as soon as it is possible!!!

if you really want to get rid of yeast infection then you must follow these tips - they worked for me:

    1) Eat yogurt!!!! It contains helpful bacteria (live cultures, including acidophilus and bifidus) that destroy yeast. Use only plain yogurt with active cultures.

    2) Douche with a solution of 1 to 3 tbsp. vinegar in a quart of water. Repeat once a day while having symptoms, but no longer than a week.

    3) Decrease or eliminate sugar and sugary foods. Sugar promotes yeast growth.

    4) Use a garlic clove as a suppository. Garlic contains a natural anti-fungal agent.

    5) also you should use some herbal treatment. In that case Yeastrol is really good (probably the best) product that gets rid of yeast infection comparatively fast and makes you feel more confident knowing that it wont reappear again!

And of course it is better if you use full course (5 months - if I remember correctly). For me it worked very fast + I dont get yeast infections anymore (almost 2 years) ...

I think it depends on how severe your acne is. I was getting pimples and all that stuff and I started washing my face every day with plain old Dial soap and water and it's gone down a lot... but that's just me. And I think Dial soap counts as medication/creams.

I actually don't think there IS a way to get rid of acne naturally, except for to wait it out. What's The Fastest Way To Get Rid Of Acne Naturally Without Medication or Creams?

    Good luck.
Use oil to wash your face. Yes, it sounds ridiculous, but the Oil Cleansing Method is extremely popular, and many people are having success with it.

You can use Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Almond Oil, Jojojoba Oil, etc.

I use Jojoba. It is the oil most like the sebum in our pores. I rub some on a dry face. I soak a washcloth in hot water and cover my face (for the steam to open my pores). Then, I wipe the oil off with the washcloth after it has cooled. Then I use a gentle cleanser.

It makes sense - oil attracts oil, oil likes oil. Oil is going to ';grab'; oil and dirt from your face better than soap, detergent, etc...

I know it sounds crazy, but trust me, it works great.
Try some Witch Hazel- its in a bottle like Rubbing Alcohol but it is far gentler on your skin. It doesn't normally stink (unless you have an open cut) and it cleans your face very well. You could even soak some scrubbing pads in it and put them in a zip lock to keep in your purse or pocket to use through out the day. Also DO NOT use foundation on your face at all. It clogs your pores and makes things far worse!
I'm so sorry to disturb you...

Wash your face at least 2 times a day, but no more than 3 times. Make sure that if you get dry skin, decrease how much you wash your face. I like washing my face with a mild soap in the morning, afternoon I use Clearasil face pads/wipes, and a mild soap at night. Cut out all sugary foods and drinks. Also, water improves acne. Good luck!
Give up milk, especially skim milk. Make sure you get calcium and vitamin D from other sources.
    ... wash your face daily

    hot water + scrub

    then cold water on top.

sorry, but the only way to lose it is by keeping the area oil free and clean.
    Well, witch hazel could help.

Don't touch it, don't pop it, don't wash it all the time.
soak dried currants in water for a few hours and drink the juice with the little dried currants. snack on dried currants
drink tons of water, and swim in chlorinated water, like a pool. wash with gentle soap and rinse with cool water.
dont touch your face a lot, drink a lot of water. wash it 2-3 times a day. dont use too much makeup.
pop them or just keep your hands off your face and wash it whenever you wash your hair in the shower
Drink lots of water, stay away from a lot of soda and wash your face daily.

Why might an elderly patient be put on antibiotic cream a minor skin tear, when people not need medication?

elderly people tend to have a much much slower rate of healing aswell as being more prone to infection with a lowered imune system. such is the human body when it ages.

I take pain medication and my reaction to this is extreme itching. Can you suggest a good cream to use?

I have tried Gold Bond Medicated Cream which just works OK..any suggestions would be apperciated..ThanksI take pain medication and my reaction to this is extreme itching. Can you suggest a good cream to use?
It totally depends on the kind of itch you have and what your symptoms are. Is it a rash? Bumps? Little blisters? Where is the itch?

If your itch is extreme I would do the following:

1st: Make an appt. to see a dermatologist and tell him (or your doctor) about the side effects of your meds. They should be able to perscribe a perscription strength hydrocortisone cream.

2nd: Hydrocortisones are one topical that will ease your itching, but it's not the only thing, and it doesn't stop all itches.

There are also steroid cremes that aren't like real steroids- but they have real itch stopping strength.

Clobetesol Propionate is one such itch stopper. It's awesome and stops itch on contact. But again, more info. is needed about the nature of the itch and where it is/what it looks like on the skin.

    Good luck,

Hope this was a best answer for you!!I take pain medication and my reaction to this is extreme itching. Can you suggest a good cream to use?
you're probably allergic to the meds. that's usually a good sign. tell your doc. you may need a different brand of pain meds.
I would suggest asking your local pharmacist and contacting your doctor for assistance. Your condition could worsen and it should be looked at by a medical professional.
hydrocortisone works great or calydryl theres something in opiates that causes itching because it used to do that to me
    bacatracian, aveno, calamine, etc.
What it sounds like is an allergic reaction.

    Take some Benadryl!

    trust me, it works!

Has anyone used Finacea (the acne cream)? acne medication i got from my doctor?

    What were your results?

Did it get rid of acne scars?

Also if it worked, how long did it take to work (I use it once in the morning and once at night.)Has anyone used Finacea (the acne cream)? acne medication i got from my doctor?
You have to attack acne where it starts, with your diet. For me, diet was the cause and solution. Topical medications fight the symptoms. Start by eliminating trans fats and eating more fruits and vegetables. Once you start cleaning up the inside of your body, by eating properly, the outside of your body (your skin) will be get cleaned up too. I started a website to document my problem and solution.

    http://www.fredstown.com/acne.html

You might find it helpful to read my story. Just remember to eat an all natural/organic diet with lots of fruits and vegetables. Stay away from processed foods. Use mild, all natural cleansers and don't pick at your face. Get lots of sleep and enough water for your body weight. Remember, clean body = clean skin. While you're waiting for your skin to clear, remind yourself that acne is a challenge that you will overcome soon. Once you're rid of it, tell all your friends how you did it. That's what I'm doing. God Bless.Has anyone used Finacea (the acne cream)? acne medication i got from my doctor?
All i know is it didn't working at all. I don't used finacea. Two years ago, i used proactive solutions, which a revolutionary acne care system. It is real work at lot! It is cheap and easy to step by step. It 's only cost less 30 dollars.Over million people including actors and movie stars used it today! Check proactive.com

    Sunshine for blemishes

Unprotected exposure to the sun (without sunscreen) can help to heal blemishes and stimulate production of vitamin D in the skin. However, limit your exposure to 2-4 times a week for no longer than 15 minutes. Choose a time before 10:30 a.m. or after 4:00 p.m., when the sun's rays are not as strong. Note: Excessive sun exposure can cause long-term damage to the skin, which can result in skin cancer. Avoid any prolonged exposure to sunlight.

    Care Tips

路Acne can also be caused by fluctuating hormones, stress, certain medications, food allergies and a diet high in fat. Determine if your outbreak is due to one of these factors and use the night gel for quick acne relief.

路To prevent further aggravation of your existing pimples, keep your hands scrupulously clean and away from your face. Resist the urge to squeeze or pick at acne, which could further inflame an outbreak and result in permanent scarring or pitting. Other basic tips are keeping your hair clean and away from your face; and sanitizing your telephone daily to remove bacteria that can help promote acne infection on your jaw-line.

路Many commercial care products for oily skin contain isopropyl alcohol, benzoyl peroxide and acetone, all of which excessively strip the skin surface oil. In addition, these products can dehydrate the skin, which, in turn causes the skin to produce even more oil to make up for the deficit.

    Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil has an anesthetic benefit without numbness; it is anti-bacterial, killing bacteria after only 20 seconds exposure; it is a natural fungicide; it causes the necrotic tissue to slough and heals without scarring in just a couple of days; it penetrates into the deeper tissues, down into the connective tissue and muscles; it is a natural antiseptic; it is an effective solvent and therefore a natural cleanser, able to dissolve stains and resins.

Tea tree oil helps to prevent infection in minor cuts, wounds, abrasions, athlete's foot, jock itch, yeast infections, minor burns, sunburn, insect bites, stinging nettles, chicken pox, herpes lesions, bleeding gums, canker sores, gingivitis, strep throat, mosquito repellent, strengthen the immune system, muscle aches and pains, bronchitis, shingles.... the list is almost endless!

Because tea tree oil kills viruses, bacteria and fungi, it can heal internal and external infections. It is safe to use undiluted on the most sensitive and delicate parts of the body.

Acne is a tremendously embarrassing and burdensome problem. It is easy to feel that you don't have control over your breakouts. But the fact is, you do. Now, your first response may be to assume that I'm going to recommend you see your dermatologist. Well, think again. Natural remedies can be just as effective and medications. Possibly more powerful. Sometimes, all your body needs is the right nutritional balance and proper skin care. Here are some easy things you can start doing today to help you heal your acne. You should notice a difference in about 4 weeks.

路Apply a honey mask to your face once or twice a week - Honey has antibacterial properties so it is great for disinfecting and healing minor blemishes. It is also gentle on sensitive skin.

路Wash twice a day with acne soap - You should wash your face twice a day with a sulfur based soap designed for acne. Once when you first wake up in the morning and then, right before you go to bed at night. Be extremely gentle to your skin when washing - do not scrub or use any sort of rough cloth. Overwashing your skin will actually stimulate your sebaceous glands to produce more sebum, thus increasing your acne.

路Keep your hair off your face - If you have long hair or bangs, pull your hair off your face. Your hair contains oils as well, and will contribute to your breakouts. You铆ll also want to wash your hair everyday and after workouts

路Take a potent multi-vitamin - Acne can be a sign that something is wrong on the inside. Your skin depends on nutrition. It is a vital organ that is usually neglected. If your body is not receiving the right nutrition, it will fight back. One common way it will rebel is to produce excessive sebum, clogging pores, and reducing the ability for your skin to heal and fight bacteria.

路Include chromium in your diet - Chromium is well known for weight loss diets. But it is also excellent for healing infections on the skin. Taking a chromium supplement once a day will help heal your pimples quickly and prevent future breakouts.

路Eat carrots for beta-carotene (Vitamin A) - Vitamin A strengthens the protective tissue of the skin and actually prevents acne. It helps reduce sebum production. This vitamin is essential for the maintenance and repair of the tissue which the skin and mucous membranes are made of. Vitamin A is also a powerful antioxidant needed to rid your body of toxins. Did you know that a deficiency in vitamin A can actually cause acne?

路Avoid wearing makeup - Leaving makeup products on your skin only contributes to clogging your pores, causing more pimples and blackheads. If you feel you must wear makeup, be sure it is water-based.

路Drink 8 glasses of water - Drinking water is essential for clean skin and your overall health. Water is essential for carrying waste material out of your body... and is quite possibly flare-ups

路Do not pick or squeeze your blackheads and pimples - As tempting as it may be, do not squeeze, scratch, rub or touch your pimples and blackheads. Do any of these actions, actually increases the sebum production. Plus, when you squeeze, you are actually rupturing the membranes below your skin, causing infection and sebum to spread underneath your skin. The result is more pimples.

路Wash your pillow case every other day - Your face lays on your pillow case every day. Your pillow case absorbs the oils from your skin and reapplies the dirt and oil. Thus causing breakouts. Keep your sheets and pillow cases clean.

路Eat foods rich in zinc - Zinc is an antibacterial agent and a necessary element in the oil-producing glands of the skin. A diet low in zinc can actually cause acne breakouts.

How 8 Glasses of Water a Day Can Keep Acne Away

Drinking water is essential for clean skin and your overall health. Water is essential for carrying waste material out of your body... and is quite possibly the single most important contributor to healing and preventing acne flare-ups.

How much water should you be drinking every day? Drink at least 8 to 10 glasses of water a day for beautiful skin.

Your body is made up of 70 percent water. Water is literally your body's life force. It is involved in nearly every bodily process, including digestion, absorption, circulation and excretion.

Water is also the primary transporter of nutrients throughout your body. If not enough water is consumed, toxins can build up causing breakouts. Water flushes these toxins out.

Without adequate water, we would poison ourselves with our own metabolic wastes. Your kidneys remove waste products that must be dissolved by water. So, by drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day, you are flushing out the toxins that would normally escape through the pores of your skin... thus preventing acne breakouts.

Your kidneys cannot function properly without enough water. When they do not work to capacity, some of the load is dumped onto your liver.

One of your liver's primary functions is to metabolize stored fat into usable energy for your body. But, if your liver has to do some of the kidney's work, it cannot work at full capacity. A liver that is not performing at its best can worsen acne because it cannot break down and clear excess hormones from your body.

Water helps maintain proper muscle tone, by giving muscles their natural ability to contract and by preventing dehydration. Shrinking cells are buoyed by water which plumps your skin and leaves it clear, healthy and resilient.

    More important information about water

Water is also extremely important in losing weight and keeping it off. Water suppresses the appetite and helps your body metabolize stored fat.

Studies have shown that a decrease in water intake will cause fat deposits to increase while an increase in water intake can actually reduce fat deposits.

Drinking 8 glasses of water a day can also eliminate water retention. Sodium may be a cause of water retention. Water flushes the sodium out of your system.

Water can help relieve constipation. When your body gets too little water, it siphons what it needs from internal sources. The colon is one primary source. The result is constipation. But if you drink enough water, normal bowel function returns. So, drink 8 to 10 glasses of water a day.

Your body will not function properly without enough water and cannot rid itself of wastes and toxins. Drinking water is essential for clear, healthy skin. How can you get rid of pimples without any special creams or medication?

vinegar, on a pad blot the spot let it dry then get your cheap walmart triple antibiodic cream(2.00) and apply with a q-tip DO NOT go outward.

start from the outer edge and work your way in to the ring, if you go from the inside to the out you will spread it farther, it is very contagous.

make sure you wash your hands with dish soap or antibacterial soap every time you get contact with it. the vinegar will most likely burn when applied, but the burning is the sign of killing it.

rule of thub, when in doubt on anything use vinegar, you can apply it locally, ingest it, and pretty much do anything with it. its a mircle medicine. and if drank daily in small doses(1/4V + 1/4 water) it can help lose weight!

A: Aloe Vera is excellent for treatment of fresh wounds and scars. If you can find the plant, squeeze the leaf and apply the juice to the scar. Else, apply Aloe Vera Gel. Also, apply lemon juice to the scar. Lemon juice is a natural bleach and should help.

I mean for finding the plant i have no idea if and where they sell those, the gel im sure theres some in youre house and lemon juice should be like a dollar.

    this was on there too

A: Apply lemon juice to your legs daily, and wash off after ten minutes. Also, make sure you keep legs well moisturised. After showering, when your skin is still damp, rub a little body oil on your legs to lock in the moisture

Read the information that came with your medication. It will tell you anything that you should not do while using the medication.

All medication comes with an information package. It is always best to read it through before you start using the medication so that you know how it works, what contradicts it, what the side effects are so you can monitor for them.

Does oral acne medication(pills) work better than gel or cream you apply directly to your face?

My derm prescribed both, an oral antibiotic and a cream retin-a formula. Although he said he doesn't want me on the antibiotic forever. I still use both though and try to talk him into keeping me on the antibiotic because I hate acne so much. It seems to me that using both works best for my skin and prevents breakouts better. If I forget either regime, I notice my skin breaks out more.Does oral acne medication(pills) work better than gel or cream you apply directly to your face?
it depends on the type of acne you have and the severity it is. i have moderate acne, and i find that cream works best. if it's more severe, it's often better to use oral acne medications. check with your doctor.

    Lamisil--athlete's foot medication cream/powder?

    Hi,

Very recently, I think I have contracted the 'foot fungal'. I had gone to purchase a Lamisil cream and applied it to the toes. However, about an hour after applying it to the infected toes, it began to tingle and itch greatly. Is this natural after the cream application?

    TQA for any info.

Happy New Years, too.Lamisil--athlete's foot medication cream/powder?
I think you're fine and you should give it some more time. You could also have it on other parts of the foot and not know it so you should put it all over the foot and when you do, you should put on a fresh pair of socks and don't wear shoes that smother you feet if you can help it. The itching could just be a simple reaction to the medication, maybe it's working. I don't know if it ever makes my feet itch because it's been awhile since I've had to use that stuff. I could say that if you think it's an allergic reaction then take some benadryl and see if that helps. You can also soak your feet in water with baking soda and that will help stop the itch. After you soak your feet though, dry them off really well and put the medication back on with a new pair of socks. When you wash your laundry make sure to wash your socks in bleach.Lamisil--athlete's foot medication cream/powder?
It sounds like you may be allergic to an ingredient in the cream... try a powder ( it's not as concentrated) and if that doesn't work or you have a simmiler reaction you should call your doctor and let him know... he can perscribe something different. good luck!
I've always used Tinactin for athlete's foot (spray). I don't like the creams, they are oily and never dry. It sounds stupid, but John Madden is right, ';Tough Actin' Tinactin.'; It works!!

3yr old had gastroenteritis for 5 days -still on medication . His poo is pale/cream in colour. ?

Why is this? Is is because the medication is white? he is eating properly and drinking well. He was on drips while admitted in hospital.

He also stilll complains of stomach pain after eating. He now has a chesty cough which developed overnight.3yr old had gastroenteritis for 5 days -still on medication . His poo is pale/cream in colour. ?
    Rishen M,

After an illness, in this case GI, stools may change character for up to two weeks. The illness can affect the lining of the intestines and make it more difficult in the first few weeks to digest food. This is often seen as the child feels better and is eating normally, but still has diarrhea. There is no cause for concern about continued mild diarrhea or loose stools as this should correct itself. The light coloured stools may be normal, but if it does not resolve in the next few days you would be advised to consult your doctor. In rare cases, pale coloured stools may accompany liver problems.

He is on medication? Perhaps the cough is a reaction to the medication, perhaps it is a cold, it is something you will most certainly need to tell the doctor. It could be nothing, but considering his age, I'd get it checked as soon as you can... Tell the doctor what his poos look like.

He would have been on drips to rehydrate him and possibly administer salt and sugar (as he would have been lacking these from vomiting or diarrhea) or medication.
Take him back to the doctor; if that doesn't work, take him to A%26amp;E.

What is the quickest form of medication absorbed by the body taking a tablet, rubbing cream or a stick on patch?

Of the three, a tablet would be probably the most rapidly absorbed. It also depends on the type of medicine. Some can be fairly rapidly absorbed by the body.

Intravenous administration is usually the most rapid method. Nicotine is very rapidly absorbed by the lungs into the blood stream thence to the brain. I've never tried coke, but I'm told one feels it very shortly after snorting. Some medications given by rectal suppository are surprisingly rapidly absorbed. Likewise under the tongue, nitroglycerin for angina as an example. Intramuscular and subcutaneous injections are often surprisingly slow to be absorbed.

So, in rough general order of rapid absorption: intravenous %26gt; inhalation %26gt; rectal %26gt; sublingual %26gt; oral %26gt; IM %26gt; subq %26gt; transdermal, all with a lot of variation depending on the type of substance. What is the quickest form of medication absorbed by the body taking a tablet, rubbing cream or a stick on patch?
Not too easy to answer. Some tablets are formulated to be either delayed release or slowly releasing, there are too few ';rubbing cream'; formulations to make a comparison, and patches are almost always intended as slow-release preparations. The answer is probably a regular tablet if the target is a proper blood level.

I have been on it for 3 weeks btw.Question about differin cream acne medication?
I have used Differin in the past.

It made my skin dry at first, then got a bit oily.

I don't think you're doing anything wrong. Here's what I think is happening: the Differin is actually drying out your skin. When your skin is dry, your body tries to give it some moisture by producing more oil. So that's why your skin is oily.

That may not be the exact reason, so I would talk to a doctor or dermatologist about it.Question about differin cream acne medication?
That's not a usual side effect of differin. But it depends on your moisturizer and if your skin is naturally oily.
    everyone reacts differently to medicine

  • What is the best medication or cream for a really bad breakout on the face?

try applying benzoyl peroxideWhat is the best medication or cream for a really bad breakout on the face?
The best thing to use for an acne breakout ( if that is what you are referring to) is first of all do not use anything containing alcohol. This strips the face of the first layer of skin and dries the face. This will lead to increased production of oils and cause an even worse breakout. Use something with benzoyl peroxide in it. It will not only cleanse the face, but will also kill the bacteria that can sometimes cause the acne. A good cream to use is Persa-Gel by Johnson %26amp; Johnson. It is water-based and contains the benzoyl peroxide ( costs about $4-$5). The very best thing that I have found is not a cream or med., it is the new ClearLight treatments. It consists of eight 15-minute treatments under what looks like a sunlamp. It is very inexpensive (about the cost of tanning bed sessions), and is pain-free. It will have your skin looking awesome in just a couple of treatments. I have my treatments done at the salon where I get my hair done. She just sits me under it after my haircut. It could not be any simpler. I know that this is a long answer, but I hope it helps. What is the best medication or cream for a really bad breakout on the face?

Well I think you mean SWELLING and not smelling, so I am going with that. Ice packs are great or even frozen peas! It's a natural way to reduce swelling. Before taking any meds, even OTC drugs, ask your doctor. You don't want them to react badly with anything you are currently on! Your doctor will be able to tell you exactly what to take or he/she might even prescribe you something to help. Good luck with your surgery! How to to reduce smelling of the eyes lip, after surgen. I'm guessing you mean swelling of the eyes, etc. That would be ice packs. Medication or cream could get into the membranes and make the matter worse..
???? your eyes and nose smell go back to doctor who didit

2] wrap in paper towel or dish towel

3] do 20 minutes on, 20 min off; 20 on, etc.

Who can prescribe for me a cream or medication that can make my skin lighter, brighter, smooth and soft?

I have uneven skin tone in my body and its as if my skin is wrinkling does anyone know a cream that can take care of that.Who can prescribe for me a cream or medication that can make my skin lighter, brighter, smooth and soft?
Here are a few ideas for skin-lightening creams you can brew up at home.

    Bleaching Cream:

    1/4 cup mineral oil

    1 tablespoon beeswax or paraffin

    1/4 cup lemon juice

    1/2 cup whey

1)Use a double boiler large enough to hold three small glass bowls with the separate ingredients, or use two double boilers. First, place the mineral oil and paraffin in bowls and then in the top of the double boiler. Watch until the wax is nearly melted and then add a bowl with the lemon juice and whey.

2)Pour the melted wax into a glass bowl and stir in the warm oil, mixing vigorously. Keep mixing and add the warm lemon juice and whey. Cover and refridgerate for 2 hours until cream is set.

3)Remove the mixture from the refridgerator and whip with an electric hand mixer or wire wisk until light and creamy. You may add a drop of your favorite perfume at this step, if desired.

4)Store cream in the refridgerator for up to 6 weeks.

    Lemon Lightening Pack:

    2 tablespoons fuller's earth

    1 teaspoon lemon juice

    1 teaspoon buttermilk

mix all ingredients into a paste and apply to the skin in light upward strokes. Sit back with your feet up for 20 minutes; rinse with the SKIN BLEACHING TONIC

    Skin Bleaching Tonic:

    1 lemon, sliced

    1 cup white wine

    1 tablespoon sugar

1)place lemon slices and wine in an enamel or glass pot and bring to a boil over medium heat. Boil for one minute. Remove from heat, stir in the sugar, and let cool

2)Strain the mixture and store in a tightly capped bottle.Who can prescribe for me a cream or medication that can make my skin lighter, brighter, smooth and soft?

Let me know please. Can I use the sunless tanning spray if I am on acne medication or bleaching cream?
Do not mix your perscribed stuff with the tanning spray because you do not want the chemicals to conflict with each other and have a different or unwanted reaction. Continue your perscription and later use tanning spray. Can I use the sunless tanning spray if I am on acne medication or bleaching cream?
it should be safe. might turn your skin orange tho. check with your doc.
I don't think its safe... especially if you have acne... ACne reacts with chemicals and may grow bigger or you may get much more. Its like using cocoa butter on your face when you have acne it make the acne bumps grow. I know this because my doctoer told me this before.

Can you get cream or medication for hemorrhoids at the drug store?

The question says it all...any specific brands though? Can you get cream or medication for hemorrhoids at the drug store?
You can try Preparation-H cream, suppositories and medicated wipes. If the pain is really bad you can put warm compresses on the hemorrhoids. If this doesn't help then you can go to a proctologist and he can give you an exam and give you some stronger presciption medication to help with the swelling and the pain. Also stay away from spicy foods as this adds to the problem. Can you get cream or medication for hemorrhoids at the drug store?

Unfortunately dark circles are heriditary but ask a cosmetician of any really effective products to lighten them up. U can save ur money and go straight to a dermatologist and see what he recommends, in the meantime get the right amount of zzzzzz's everynight and watch the partying k?
Nope, you just have to look like an old skank for the rest of your life....maybe get plastic surgery...too bad you cant erase your face and start over...sorry!
Have you tried concealer that is one shade lighter than your natural skin tone? Cover with foundation that matches your skin tone and dust on a little bronzer.
i would like to know also
Have you tried going to bed earlier and getting enough sleep?
the only PERMANENT cure is a type of laser surgery.

that is what i am planning on doing, i have really horrible under eye circles that are hereditary too.
Have you tried Bare Escentuals? It's awesome. They have colors called Bisque and Well Rested. They work great to cover up under eye circles, blemishes, and anything else you want to cover. You can read about them on Bareminerals.com, Sephora.com, or QVC.com.
    I too have terrible dark circles under my eyes regardless of how much sleep I get. The best thing that I have found is a yellow concealer. Doesn't really matter about your skin tone, but the yellow covers up the circles. I highly recommend giving it a try. I picked one up at the drug store for like $1 and now I don't leave the house without it. Definitely one of my new ';must haves';
Use a large pillow to sleep and do not sleep too much...less blood will accumulate and hence should help. It helped with me.

What topical medication ( ointment or cream) is good for chronic and stubborn eczema on the hand?

I work in the hospital as a nurse. I now use the powder-free gloves. For years,I had a chronic case of eczema to my right hand on only 2 particular spots. It itches and flakes up like crazy. I have seen the dermatologist and was given an ointment but the eczema is stubborn for years. Is there any homeopathic herbal or pharmaceutical topical medications recommended? Any other suggestions? What topical medication ( ointment or cream) is good for chronic and stubborn eczema on the hand?

I have suffered from eczema for years and have figured out a nice combo of products that have worked wonders for my skin. You can check it out here: http://budurl.com/n4d7 Report Abuse

I found that clobetasol 0.005% cream is effective because it is a super high potency corticosteroid. I apply it twice a day and eczema is manageable because it soothes the itching which is a huge relief so I won't irritate my skin even more. I also use Eucerin lotion, dove soap I stay clear of any products with too much perfume because it becomes a nightmare for my skin and allergies. Keep your hands moisturized apply a thick of moisturizer under the gloves while your at work. I have my eczema under control now but if I get stressed or climate becomes too hot or too cold here comes a flair up just have to know your triggers.
I am a nurse too! I used to have trouble with my hands cracking and bleeding due to the glove exposure and hand washing. I struggled with these symptoms for many years but now I use a skin oil and cream once/day and I don't have anymore skin trouble. Dee, hello. Latex gloves are bad for eczema. You should wear Vinyl gloves instead; and if your hands are sweating - Cotton gloves underneath. As for topical medications: I suggest that you should if you haven't already try the herbal cream by Champori: it helps my eczema better than anything else I tried, and it is harmless, too.

Freederm HC Soothing Dermal Cream At eczemamiracle.com

My son was born with eczema and we struggled with it for years. I tried everything, spending 100-200$ a week (seriously). I never went anywhere without at least 3 types of itch cream plus lotion. He cried and and rarely slept for more than a couple hours at a time. I could go on and on....it was horrible.

Then my husband found Freederm on the internet. We bought it not expecting much, but it relieves the itch and controls the rash. Within a couple of days his skin didn't look so angry and was starting to get smooth. He also started sleeping through the night (and so did I).

Use it liberally at first but as the months go by it won't be necessary to use so much anymore. We used it for a little more than a year and then the eczema was gone and we haven't had a problem with it in more than two years.
the best thing you can do is to keep the skin moist all throughout the day using an all natural skin care moisturizer. be sure to keep the skin hydrated by drinking lots of water. avoid moisture robbers like dry air, humidity and too much exposure to extreme temperatures. avoid things and skin irritants that can encourage eczema outbreaks. consult your dermatologist about the best treatments for eczema. visit http://www.skinoriginal.com for tips on how to avoid eczema flares.
I highly recommend using this amazing organic oil known as Argan oil. It has been popular in Israel and Morocco for years. It became really popular in Europe when models started using it, and is now found in all the spas and salons, I grew up in France and have been using it for years. It absorbs into the skin really quickly, faster than most creams and lotions. It works wonders for the skin, hair, nails, and skin ailments. It is all around the most beneficial and rarest organic skin care product on the planet. We used it for my niece's eczema and it worked wonders. For some reason it only grows in Morocco. I found one website that has the best directions for all its different uses. I contacted them and they said they start selling in two weeks. You can register for a discount now and future promotions.

Use a zinc oxide or Desitin cream. It should penetrate the dryness when you wear the gloves. You may have to apply it several times a day depending how often you have to change gloves.
I've used cortisone, mecca (very hard to find now), and something with zinc. However, I've found it is very related to spiritual and emotional health too.
Protopic or Elidel? They're better than cortisone for long-term use.
    Hi,

My name is Joy and I am an independent consultant for Warm Spirit, Inc. There is a great solution to your eczema problem that I would love to recommend to you-and hope you will give it a try.

The product is called Special Attention Cream. It is the problem solver for trouble spots. This super-rich cream looks like butter, and works like magic on rough, cracked skin and it really does heal dry, flaky skin.

The classic emollients and vitamins mixed with eucalyptus, camphor and menthol to open the pores, increase blood flow, soothe and heal and invigorate your problematic skin.

Translation: Special Attention Cream is a Miracle Worker. Dianne Keaton, a wonderful actress, has added this product to her daily regimene.

And as a personal reference- after the birth of my third child I suffered from eczema on my neck. Upon discovering the Special Attention Cream I utilized it for three days and the eczema was gone. I have not had a problem in that area since.

I use this product for anything---including pimples and it resolves that problem almost instantaniously. Yes it almost sounds too good to be true, but it really does work!!
